The document "TA Observatory 2018", presents the study on the situation of Technical Architecture[1] at the level of scientific production, of Universities, teachers and professionals, offering an ordering, both of the institutions and of the authors, with respect to various parameters and indices, and a chronological view of the evolution suffered over time.
In this work, 39 Spanish and 1 Chilean[2] Universities have been analyzed, 919 TAs with scientific production and the 39 University Libraries and the 27 University Institutional Repositories that had documents. In addition, both the CSIC, Dialnet and REBIUN have offered their collaboration and help for the doubts raised.

What is an observatory?
It is a way of visualizing the research work that has been carried out on the scientific production of Technical Architects. For this, both data from Authors and Universities are presented.
What documents have been incorporated?
Within the wide technical-scientific production that has been found, the one that had external quality indicators that were recognized as accepted by the different evaluation agencies has been extracted.
That does not mean that there is much more interesting documentation to view. But in this phase we have stuck to these.
Which databases have been analysed?
For all types of documents, the repositories of the Universities were initially searched.
For articles, papers, patents and monographs in the Web Of Science, SCOPUS and the CSIC repository
Patents, in addition to the above sources of information, in the Registry of Patents and Trademarks
The doctoral theses in TESEO, TDR, Dialnet and REBIUN
All types of documents on ResearchGate.
How have the Technical Architects been identified?
The collaboration of Universities, Schools and Professional Colleges has been very important in this work. Without your enthusiastic help it would have been impossible to do it.
